A hint from an old class 8 maintenance mechanic, when starting for first time take some time and clean all the battery terminals on each battery and the cable. You would be surprised at the resistance that builds up just sitting.
About one-handed door latch closing – put some thread locker onto a latch thread, so it doesn’t turn easily.
Yikes! Take it from someone that’s been to the ER too many times… those sharp ends of a pitchfork should never be pointed at anything that shouldn’t be stabbed.
