I was an interior trim carpenter. Back in the days when mitre saw blades were so expensive it was cheaper to have them sharpened than replace them, I found that spraying the blades with oven cleaner would clean the resin off and make them cut like a new blade – which I could do a couple times before needing to resharpen.
I run a Timber King 2200 and I find that laundry soap has the best performance as an additive for the lubricant water. Super concentrated and has a nice snotty consistency that keeps the pitch off the bands. Beautiful wood BTW
