Andrew, it’s easy to make a two stick control by using a couple of small u-joints and rerouting some of the hydraulic lines. And putting the clam open and close on a foot peddle. Then the sticks act like your excavator controls.

I’d love to own an old log truck with grapple loader. There’s a ton of them around me for sale that aren’t really “road worthy” but they’d be great yard trucks around a big property like yours.
